Abstract: Food of the White Stork (Ciconia ciconia L.) in the northern part of the Bács-Kiskun county as studied. Population censuses and banding of storks were carried out in parallel. Food remains found in the nests, pellets (31 items) and stomach-contents of dead birds have been analysed. We observed the feeding of young storks by the parents at a nest in the village of Écs (County Győr-Sopron).
