Abstract: A new cestoda species, Triodontolepis torrentis sp. n. (Hymenolepididae) is described from water shrews, Neomys fodiens (Pennant, 1771) inhabiting various mountains of the Carpathian Basin. Faunistical data of T. bifurca (Hamann, 1891), T. hamanni (Mrázek, 1891) and T. skrjabini Spassky et Andrejko, 1968, as well as an identification key to the genus Triodontolepis Yamaguti, 1959 are given.
