Abstract: A case of larval occurrence of Vampirolepis asymmetrica (Janicki, 1904) in an oribatid mite Ceratozetes gracilis (Michael, 1884) found in the Bükk National Park, Hungary is reported. A discussion of previous reports of the cysticercoids of V. asymmetrica and V. straminea (Goeze, 1782) is presented.
