Abstract: The author describes the anatomy of four Helix species found in Sicily (Helix aperta Born, H. aspersa O. F. Müller, H. mazzullii Cristofori et Jan and H. sp.). The last one is a distinct species, but due to lacking type materials of a number of taxa, it remains as Helix sp.
