Abstract: The data of thirty-two specimens belonging to nineteen species of Manakins (Pipridae) are given. They were studied and identified in the skin collection of the Ornithological Museum of Goiania. Among them there are some specimens having great importance from zoogeographical point of view, like Heterocercus lineatus, Machaeropterus pyrocephalus, Pipra nattereri and Pipra rubrocapilla. Although the main period of collecting the birds was between 1950 and 1994, there is a specimen of Pipra iris collected by A. Goeldi in 1908, which is important in the history of science. Keywords: Pipridae, Manakins, Brasil, Museum
