Abstract: As a preliminary study, short descriptions of fungi growing on sandy areas, published as new species in the last decade, are given. Data concerning the description, occurrence and herbarial data of the species: Calocybe obscurissima, Inocybe agardhii, I. devoniensis, I. pnaeoleuca, Leucopaxillus tricolor, Panaeolus cyaneacens, Pluteus pearsonii and Rhodocybe fallax are further submitted.
