Abstract: Light conditions in two types of the association Orno-Quercetum pubescentis and in the Quercetum petraeae-cerris-community. Values were related to light intensities prevailing under clear and overcast skies in the field. Concerning the two kinds of relative values, the oakwood types of different architecture behaved differently. In the herb layer of Orno-Quercetum more dominant or abundant species show correlation with light than in that of Quercetum petraeae-cerris.
