Abstract: Authors worked up the moss material collected in the limestone mountains on the SW Semenic of the South-Carpathians. Of the numerous moss data, the most interesting novelties and rarities are given. Fissidens
crassipes and Bryum veronense are new to the South-Carphathians; Scapania subalpina, inhabiting the subalpine-alpine zones in other areas of the Carpathians, occurs in masses at merely 300 m a. s. l. in the region discussed; Cololejeunea rossettiana, Fissidens rufulus, Cinclidotus minor and C. aquaticus are very rare in the Carpathian flora.Subject: botany
