Abstract: A partly compiled check-list of the green plants (apochlorotic Flagellates included) of the Baradla
Cave is given. Earlier workers reported 104 algal taxa from the Baradla. Around the lamps 15 algae were living in 1974. There is a very limited coincidence (only two algae are common) between algal species list of the dark flora and that of the lamp flora. 20 moss-species were found at 10-1000 lux light intensity. The ferns are represented only by two species. On the basis of ecological observations some suggestions are given, how to keep the lamp flora at its minimum.Subject: botany
