Abstract: A new species for Hungary was found in Bükk Mts.: Anoectangium aestivum (Hedw.) Mitten (Pottiaceae, Weisioidae). This alpine-boreal species (nearest living place to Hungary is in the High Tatras) lives near Lillafüred. Other species being rare or new to the Bükk Mts. are also reported.Subject: botany
