Abstract: Four rare species (Hygrophorus aureus, Hygrophorus poetarum, Lactarius hysginus, Phaeolepiota aurea) of the Hungarian red list of macrofungi (Basidiomycetes) are discussed. Phaeolepiota aurea is recorded in Hungary for the first time.
