Abstract: Unusual assemblage of rare alpine-boreal bryophytes and glacial relict vascular plant species was investigated on steep dolomite north facing rock walls in the southern and eastern Vértes Mts, west-central Hungary. Documentation of the microhabitats revealed the presence of bryophytes Anomodon rostratus, Leiocolea collaris, Myurella julacea, Orthothecium intricatum, Pedinophyllum interruptum, and Plagiobryum zierii.
