Abstract: All relevant Hungarian literature and herbarium records of Crepis pannonica were surveyed and evaluated in order to clarify its distribution in Hungary. Some dubious or erroneous records were elucidated or corrected. C. pannonica being a very rare taxon with declining populations in Hungary is proposed to receive strict protection.
