Abstract: Flavoparmelia soredians, an Atlanto-Mediterranean foliose lichen species seems to be spreading in Hungary, as well. It was discovered in nine Hungarian localities between 2011 and 2016. Contrary to its known ecological requirements, it occurred mostly in urban habitats with no oceanic climate.
