Abstract: During a meeting of the British Bryological Society in Hungary in April 2024, Bryum touwii, Ceratodon conicus, Microbryum conicum, M. muticum, Pterygoneurum kozlovii and Tortella humilis were recorded as new or confirmed members of the Hungarian flora. Details of the collections are given, and the diagnostic characters of the taxa are discussed. The concepts of the taxa in the Microbryum davallianum /M. starckeanum complex, as widely accepted in Central Europe, are presented in tabulated form.
